Hi, I'm Miriam, a Certified Coach & MindBody Practitioner specializing in helping people overcome chronic pain and symptoms.
I'm also an ex chronic pain sufferer, having had neuropathic pain, sciatica, shoulder pains, fibromyalgia and other strange syndromes!
In my journey and subsequent professional work, I learnt that most conventional approaches to chronic pain are outdated. Other alternative treatments are scientifically unfounded.
I dare to make the above claims because I've learnt the hard way and because I'm tired of seeing so many people suffer needlessly, just because they've been given the wrong information, based on incorrect and outdated theories.
Because I've seen hundreds of people who have been trying all sorts of treatments to fix or relieve their pain, and whose symptoms only got worse!
Some of them believed that what they were doing was going to help them or at least bring some relief. And while relief may be had short term - from treatments like massage, ice / heat, yoga, PT or chiropractic care, in the long term these approaches could end up doing more harm than good - unless you know what's really going on!
The approach that I teach is NOT about pain management - it's about true healing and symptom elimination. And to heal, you've got to know what's REALLY driving your symptoms and how to change these underlying patterns.
